Meet Aurora

 I have been sitting on panels educating humans about to 2SLGBTQIA+ issues for over 30 years. Usually I am in the position of leading or putting together a panel. Recently, however, I had the delight of just being a panel participant. This training was lead by a powerful young human named Aurora Higgs. I had met Aurora briefly but never had a chance to see her train and teach until this moment. It is so delightful to be an elder gay and watch the next generation pick up the torch and lead us into a new understanding of gender through sharing their stories and themselves. I knew when I met Aurora that we were going to be friends and that we would have a lot to talk about.

This is one of the longest interviews so far that I have done. turns out I was right, Aurora and I did have a lot to talk about. I hope you will enjoy our conversation as much as we did. I have such great faith in the younger people and how they express themselves and in particular young people like Aurora who are blazing trails all the while standing in a powerful commitment to love people.
